certificate programs

Fusion School of Natural Health is the only Registered School in the Kingston and surrounding area, accredited with the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario (RRCO). Upon successful completion of this course and the examinations, graduates are eligible to become Registered Reflexology Practitioners (RRPr) with the RRCO. RRPr is a certification mark federally registered and valid throughout Canada. When a Reflexologist displays their RRPr designation you know that they have trained to defined standards for the profession of reflexology as established by a governing board and recognized by the federal government of Canada.

The reflexology course is 4 FULL days in class. It can take about 6 months to complete as there is a lot of work to do after the 4 days, total of 200 hours. However, you are given 12 months to complete the course and take the exams and the pass mark is 85%. You are provided with a manual, workbook, DVD or YouTube link, and textbook and you will be working with another student to learn the techniques used to perform a reflexology treatment on the feet. Knowledge of anatomy is helpful, although not essential, and you are shown how the anatomy is mapped on the foot. You will need to learn some anatomy to pass the exam, e.g. what the function of the liver is, how the systems in the body work etc. You’ll learn the history of reflexology, the benefits, contra-indications and by the end of day 4 you should be confident enough to start your case studies of 60 pairs of feet as you will have learned the complete routine. Attendance at all classes is mandatory.

After completion of the coursework, workbook, case studies, and passing the practical and theoretical exams (additional fee), you will have completed the curriculum that meets the approval of the RRCO. You may then apply to the RRCO for membership which will then provide you with your RRPr designation.

A non-refundable deposit of $200 is required to reserve your place 2 weeks prior to the class start date. Certification is through Fusion School of Natural Health, a Registered School with the Reflexology Registration Council of Ontario (RRCO)

The Foot Reflexology RRCO accredited course consists of 30 hours of in-class instruction, plus 60 case studies of treatments performed, followed by a practical and written exam. The student will be given assignments to be completed before taking the exams.

Learning Foot Reflexology is a wonderful addition to your current holistic training, or as a stand alone holistic service.

Note: Reflexology certification with the RRCO is also offered by correspondence. Please scroll down the Calendar tab.

reflexology: correspondence

The course material mailed to you will be all that is required for completion of this registered course and for the exam. However reading of suggested books will always enhance your abilities and knowledge of reflexology, and is strongly encouraged.

You have 12 months to complete your studies and assignments, and take both the written and practical exam. Any requests for an extension will have to be put in writing to the School and assessed by the RRCO. There are no exceptions.

Both practical and written examinations are required within 18 months of commencement of course and the pass mark is 85%. There is an examination fee and the examination can only be taken after the completion of all course work and assignments. If you intend to take the exam on a particular date, your assignments have to be submitted to the School at least two weeks prior to that date. This allows marking to be completed.

Please email the School to make arrangements to take your exams or check the Calendar.
